When I’m on the go, I don’t bother carrying around my whole make-up bag as it weighs me down, I just like to carry a few essentials which are perfect for touch ups.
Tools wise I love the Real Techniques Blush Brush which is great for touching up both powder and Bronzer. For powder, my staple is Mac Studio Fix which is a foundation/powder so provides great coverage especially when you need it in the middle of the day for a shiny nose! Bourjois Delice de Poudre is a lovely matte Bronzer and its cardboard case, although not glam enough for some, is perfect for chucking in the handbag as you can be sure of no breakages.
Other essentials include L’Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream Travel Size, a great hand cream that really delivers and is not too greasy; Lucas Papaw Ointment is a multi-use balm that can be used for dry lips, burns, insect bites, splinters, cuts, chafing, cracked skin and more so is a great one to keep with you for all emergencies; Soap & Glory Hand Maid Antibacterial Hand Cleansing Gel is another lifesaver especially with a 2 year old boy, it is great to have for nappy changes and other accidents that may occur!
Finally I love keeping my Travelo perfume atomiser with me filled with Chanel Coco Mademoiselle, great for when I forget to put my perfume on in the morning or to top up during the day. Also by Chanel is the Glossimer lipgloss in 357 Mystery, which was a Christmas present and I love it. It is a dusky pink colour so a lovely neutral shade for during the day, which stays put for hours. Also adds a bit of glam to your everyday face!
And last but not least, my Denman Dressing Out brush for giving a bit of umph to my hair when it goes flat during the day. This back combing brush saves the day especially after a walk to work through the wind and rain!
