Ever since my holiday back in May, when I put together this little Mac quad together for , I have used nothing else. The colours are a great combination for that goldy-bronzed look and shades that I cannot seem to stray from at the moment. Mac eyeshadows are amazing quality and blend so well together without ever having much product fall-down. They are the only eyeshadows that I really use on a daily basis and love that you can buy them in pan format and put together little quads to create your perfect look.
So first of all is Omega, a soft light brown, which I only really use for my brows. It is a matte shadow and the perfect shade for blonde girls who don’t like too much of a strong brow. An everyday essential for me.
The second shade is All That Glitters, which is a champagne colour with a pearly glow to it. It is beautiful on its own blended across the whole lid or as a base shadow for the other two colours in this palette. Another shadow which I like to pair it with is Espresso (which is a matte shade) through the crease and a combination that I often wear to work when I don’t want too much shimmer and quite a neutral eye.
Next is possibly my favourite shadow of all time, Woodwinked, which is described as a warm, antique gold. It is a gorgeous shadow and one that I can wear alone all over the lid which when applied appears as a lovely warm gold colour. However, when blended through the crease, it almost goes a deep orange colour creating a shadow which is great as you can get a great look with just one shadow. It really is a summer essential for me and I always love my eyes when I have used this one. I also use this on the lower lash line for extra summer sparkle.
Finally there is Mulch, which as you can tell from the photo is another favourite of mine and one that I bought for my wedding and is still going strong. This is a shimmery golden brown which looks amazing blended into the outer corner eye. I often wear this if I want a bit more of a dramatic look by putting Woodwinked across the lid and Mulch in the outer corner and through the crease. Simply beautiful!
I find that these shades suit my green eyes, blond hair and warm complexion and are my go-to shades for the summer. What eyeshadows do you recommend for the summer?
