Hair Care Highlights #1

I love it when I find products that just work for me! I like to keep my hair care routine pretty simple and am not one for too much styling, however I do like products to be effective so when I find good ones I like to shout about it!

I have recently repurchased Kerastase Reflection Bain Chroma Riche as it is my favourite shampoo, so when it is on offer online I snap it up! It is a lovely shampoo especially targeted at damaged, coloured and highlighted hair, all of which I have. As a blonde, I get my colour done every 2 months, so I like to ensure that this colour is maintained in between trips to the hairdresser and I find that this shampoo is perfect for this keeping it bright and vibrant whilst hydrated at the same time. It contains UV filters and Vitamin E to protect the hair from UV rays and photo-oxidation damage, so its good to know my hair is protected. It smells lovely and you only need the smallest amount to give soft, shiny, manageable hair.

As a girl with long, fine hair, I am always on the lookout for products that give a bit of oomph. L’Oreal Elnett Satin Heat Syling Spray in Volume gives my hair the protection needed from blow drying and straightening my hair most days as well as giving my hair a bit of volume. I find it perfect for everyday styling and just spritz it through my hair before blow drying. It gives a bit of texture to the hair too so that it is not so limp. A great budget buy!

Finally onto the ultimate treatment, Moroccanoil Light which I use in conjunction with the Elnett Heat Spray. After I have spritzed that through my hair, I take a few drops of the Moroccanoil Light in my palms, rub together and apply to the ends of my hair. This light formula is perfect for anyone with fine, light colour treated hair and really does help to condition, treat and strengthen the hair. Since using this, the condition of my hair has definitely improved, making the ends strong and full where they were once thin and spilt. It is not cheap but this small bottle has lasted me 4 months of using it nearly daily. It has pretty much run out now, but I shall definitely be repurchasing soon.
