September Favourites

Another month, another set of favourite products! So without further ado, here is what I have been loving throughout September:

I have been loving Origins Ginger Soufflé Whipped Body Cream, the smell is absolutely incredible and one of my favourite smelling body creams ever! I normally save this for special occasions as it’s a bit pricey, but cannot get enough if it at the moment. The smell is quite hard to describe but it is quite a light, tangy ginger fragrance with a touch of citrus that is uplifting and refreshing. The cream itself applies easily and melts into the skin quickly, leaving the beautiful fragrance on your skin. If you have not smelt this, you really must, it’s amazing!

With the change of seasons, my lips have been a little drier than usual, so I have been slathering on Nuxe Reve de Miel Lip Balm, aka the best lip balm ever! I apply this thick balm every night before bed to keep my lips soft and hydrated. It really does a great job at keeping my lips moisturised and flake free. It is possibly a little thick if you wanted to apply other lip products on top but it is one of those products that definitely gets the job done! An autumn/winter essential.

I have been using Eysilix Instant Eye Rescue by Indeed Labs for the past month or so and have really noticed an improvement in my eye area. My dark circles have diminished, reducing the amount of under-eye concealer I use and my fine lines are more crease-like than wrinkle-like if that makes sense. I am going to be doing a full review of this soon, so keep a look out for that!

Now that autumn is upon us, I have been opting for richer, plummy shades on my lids. Maybelline Color Tattoo in Metallic Pomegranate is a rusty plum colour with golden shimmer and is great worn on its own or paired with a matte brown shadow through the crease. I have done a full blog post about this gorgeous cream shadow here.

Maybelline Forever Strong Super Stay Gel Nail Colour in Divine Wine is the only polish that has been gracing my nails since the weather has turned. This deep reddy purple (like red wine!) polish is perfect for the autumn months and the gel formula and wide brush are great to ensure fuss free application!

An oldie but a goody is the Boots Natural Collection Blush in Peach Melba. I haven’t used this in ages, but recently dug it out again and it’s all I’ve been using on my cheeks. The longevity isn’t great, so you do have to reapply, however this lovely deep peach colour really perks up my face and compliments my skintone. For £1.99 you can’t really complain!

Finally, I have been really enjoying using the Crownbrush Brushes C433 & C431. I have written a post dedicated to the C433 brush here but it is a lovely eyeshadow blending brush which I have found to be a more purse-friendly dupe for the Mac 217. The C431 is a precision pencil brush which is great for applying shadow underneath the eye and in the tear-duct area, a great addition to my collection.
