The Body Shop Honeymania

The Body Shop’s latest offering is ‘Honeymania’, a range that contains Community Fair Trade honey  from Ethiopia, made from the nectar of thousands of wildflowers. I love honey scented products, so was excited to give this new range a go. From the range I opted to buy my favourite products from The Body Shop, the shower gel and body butter. These are products that I buy time and time again so knew that I would love the formulas, but was intrigued to see what the smell was like.

The Honeymania Shower Gel is more floral than I had imagined, which would be from the wildflowers that are used. It is not your average sweet honey scent, although it does have slight honey undertones to it, and even though it is quite pleasant, is not my favourite scent from The Body Shop. Like all Body Shop shower gels you only need a small amount, which lathers really well and feels lovely and nourishing on the skin.

The Honeymania Body Butter is more my cup of tea! It is slightly sweeter and less floral than the shower gel, smelling a lot more like ‘honey’! I could rave on all day about Body Shop Body Butters as they are my favourite body treat and the one body product that I can always really rely on to moisturise my skin exceptionally well and leave my skin so soft and smooth. I know that my skin never reacts to them and I love how thick and creamy they are. As a beauty blogger, I do like to try other body moisturisers, but always come back to Body Shop Body Butters, my favourites are Coconut and Mango in case you were wandering!

The Shower Gel is £4 for 250ml and Body Butter is £13 for 200ml, although I did get these on one of their 40% off promotions, making them fantastic value.  If you are not signed up to The Body Shop, make sure you get on their mailing list as they do all sorts of fantastic promotions so you hardly ever have to pay full price!
