I have been a fan of Charlotte Tilbury’s work for a while now, any time I saw a look I liked in a magazine, I would always check to see who the make-up artist was, and nine times out of ten, it would be Charlotte! Ever since she released her make-up line back in September, I have been wanting to get my hands on the Dolce Vita Luxury Palette. The colours are ones that I knew would instantly suit my green eyes and having watched Charlotte’s tutorial here, I was dying to get my hands on not only this palette but the whole look!
Charlotte makes creating a make-up look really easy, she has 10 looks and a collection of make-up for each look. So you just simply select the look that you like, and you can buy all the make-up to recreate that look at home, it is actually genius!
There are four colour-coded shades in this palette:
1 – Prime – a light champagne
2 – Enhance – a burnt amber (my favourite!)
3 – Smoke – a rich golden brown
4 – Pop – a shimmery copper
Blending the shades in order, it is so easy to create an amazing look and because the shades are gorgeously pigmented and easy to blend, all the hard work is taken away from you. I literally take my best friend, aka the Mac 217 brush and apply each shade in turn, creating more drama towards the outer corner and reserving the ‘pop’ shade for an evening look. The quality of the eyeshadows is outstanding and I know I will be getting a lot of use out of this gorgeous palette. I have now also got a very long list of Charlotte Tilbury products I need in my life!
