I have loved so many new products this month, but I have tried to narrow it down, so as not to bore you all with an enormous list! Here are my favourite products from January:
Charlotte Tilbury Luxury Eyeshadow Palette in Dolce Vita
I have not stopped raving about this, it has got to be one of the best eyeshadow palettes I have tried. The formula is second to none, with the most pigmented, buttery soft shadows that are a dream to apply. The colours compliment my green eyes so well and the packaging is just exquisite. I have a full review here.
This has been the most welcomed item to my hair care routine, I just love how a spritz of this literally transforms your hair in seconds adding volume and texture. This travel sized can is perfect for popping in your clutch on a night out too. My only gripe is the price, but see my review here for a lovely little dupe!
I have added this to my morning skincare routine as my skin was feeling really tired, red and generally a bit yukky. I don’t think all the over-indulgence at Christmas helped, together with the stresses of buying a house and looking after a 3 year old! It has a light consistancy which is absorbed by the skin really quickly and has helped to calm and soothe my skin, leaving it hydrated and nourished. I really love this!
This perfume is just gorgeous, and I have literally worn it non-stop. I reviewed it earlier in the month here, so please check that out for a more detailed description of the different notes in it. I just love how it is femine and floral, yet not sickly and the leather notes makes it a sophisticated choice.
Essie Russian Roulette Nail Polish
Quite possibly the perfect red! I wore this throughout the festive season and even now it is still the colour I gravitate to. The fabulous formulation and the wide brush, makes this classic red polish easy to apply and it stays chip free for at least 4 days. Essie you have done it again!
L’Oreal Super Liner Perfect Slim
Until a few months back, I was strictly a gel liner type of gal, then I tried the Collection Extreme Felt Tip Liner and got hooked, and it is now my mission to find the perfect liquid liner. I wouldn’t say that this was ‘the one’, but I love the slim nib, allowing me to draw really precise flicks. My winged liner has dramatically improved with this liner, it just is perhaps a touch too narrow for my lid. It has a really opaque finish too and stays put all day. I would love any recommendations for liquid liners if you have them!
