Pixi Lash Line Ink

I have been loving winged liner lately and rock the look most days. For me, the precision of the flick is so important to be able create the ultimate shape and cat-eye effect. On a mission to find the perfect black liquid liner, I decided to give Pixi Lash Line Ink a go, brought to my attention by Amelia Liana as being the best out there. I had previously loved the L’Oreal Super Liner Perfect Slim, which is a great liner for drawing ‘the wing’, but I found it a little narrow for the lash line.

The Pixi Lash Line Ink has the most perfect nib, flexible enough to create ‘the wing’ but also firm enough to allow great precision allowing me to create a gorgeous cat-eye shape with ease. It has a fine tip to aid application both on the inner corner of the eye and the outer corner of the flick. This narrow tip widens a little towards the base, which makes filling in the shape and drawing along the lash line a breeze. The ink dries pretty quickly so does not smudge and is rich in colour so stays a true black all day without fading at all. I have found it to be the easiest liner I have ever used to create a winged-eye look and love that it is so long lasting. The only ‘but’ with this, as with most felt liners I have used, is that it dries out pretty quickly. I have been using it for around 6 weeks on a daily basis and it has just started to dry out. It is such a shame as I really cannot fault this liner at all, I just wish it would last a little longer, especially at £12 a pop! I have, however, discovered a little trick for dried up liners which I will share with you all next week, so make sure your following on Bloglovin’ here.

I also have a little giveaway running until 18th April 2014 to win a KIKO Nail Travel Case and and Essie Polish of your choice! Enter here.
