Well April for me has been a bit of a whirlwind, my feet feel as if they haven’t even hit the ground! After securing our new home in New York, myself and my husband Matt, have been manically trying to get things sorted for our move to the Big Apple. There is so much to do, but we are getting there slowly but surely and even though life has been manic, I have still been able to try out some new products and rekindle the love for some old favourites, so here are my favourite products for April!
Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic
This had been missing in my skincare routine for a good few month whilst trying to use up some other facial sprays that I had, and am so happy it is finally back in my life. It is the best I have tried and use it after cleansing to soothe and hydrate my skin. I’m not sure what it is about it, but my skin just feels calmer and more radiant when I use this. I wrote a whole post dedicated to my toning routine, check it out here.
Laura Mercier Foundation Primer – Radiance
This primer is great for giving your skin a lovely radiance whilst keeping you make up in place. I haven’t used this for a while, but since getting it out of my stash I have noticed such a difference to the longevity of my make-up. It also gives a nice soft focus to the skin and doesn’t cause me any breakouts. The perfect product when your skin is a bit lack lustre and yearning for summer,
Clarins Radiance-Plus Golden Glow Booster*
This has got to be my favourite product of the month as it the easiest, most fuss-free solution to faking that summer glow. Simply pop a couple of drops in your regular moisturiser, apply as normal and carry on your day/evening as normal. The result…a beautiful, healthy glow which looks like you have been kissed by the sun, amazing! I have written a full review here.
Sephora MicroSmooth Baked Bronzer Duo in Honey Heat
My latest bronzer love is this duo bronzer, half matte and half natural shimmer this bronzer is multi functional. The matte can be used to contour (although it is quite warm) and the shimmer to highlight, but my favourite is simply to swirl my brush over both and it gives the most beautiful warm bronze glow, like you have had a weeks holiday. One to check out if you are tempted by a Sephora haul (check out mine here).
Wet n Wild Megalast Lipstick in Just Peachy
I cannot get enough of this bargain bucket lipstick, it is amazing! Costing less than $2, (which is £1.20 for us UK folk!) this peachy pink delight is what has been gracing my lips this month. It has quite a matte opaque finish to it, however it is so moisturising at the same time and stays put for hours, I cannot fault it. I love it and think I am going to buy one of every colour when I get to the US! Definitely check them out if you are in the US or visiting soon!
