Spring is the time to get excited again about nails, after the darker shades of Autumn/Winter, comes the pastel and brighter shades of Spring. Here are my top five picks to get you through spring!
Tanya Burr Peaches & Cream* is the perfect nude with a touch of peach that leaves your hands looking effortlessly classy. It is a dream to apply and leaves the nails looking beautifully glossy that there’s no real need for a top coat. This shade is the perfect compliment to any outfit. I have done a full review of Tanya Burr Lips & Nails here.
KIKO Quick Dry Nail Lacquer in Coral is fabulous for when you are in a rush as it is extremely fast drying and also very long wearing! Spring wouldn’t be Spring without a coral nail and this is the perfect peach that would suit most fingertips! I know this is not too easy to get hold of in the UK, but I have written a post on coral dupes here and this is pretty much an exact match too!
My most recent purchase and probably favourite of the bunch is Sephora Formula X Here Comes The Sun. I was sold by the name, I admit it, but how gorgeous is this shade? It is the perfect mix of pink and coral and looks stunning on the nails. The gel-like formula leaves the nails looking super slick, and you could easily just get away with one coat. This shade will take you right through to summer too!
My next pick is another from Tanya Burr, but I have really been loving her polishes recently, they apply so well, look gorgeous on the nails and for only £5.99, they won’t break the bank either! Little Duck* is a beautiful mint green, which is nice as an alternative choice for when you want to switch it up a bit from the pinks and corals. They are available from Superdrug as well as Feel Unique, so are now really easy to get hold of!
My final pick for Spring is the classic that is Essie Fiji. This pale baby pink looks super pretty and feminine and looks even better with a tan. Of course the formula is fantastic being Essie, and the nice wide brush makes it super easy to apply. I would recommend two coats with this one though as tends to look a bit streaky after just one.
What nail polishes have you been loving this spring?
