1 Holiday, 3 Conditioners!

Chlorine, Sun and Heat are all damaging factors to the hair, and that is on top of already having hair that is fine and colour treated hair. With two weeks in the Spanish sunshine, I made sure that I came prepared with not one, but three conditioners to keep my hair in tip top condition!

When I washed my hair on a nearly daily basis, I used the John Frieda Full Repair Conditoner, which aims to strengthen and restore. I love that it feels lightweight, so does not weigh the hair down at all but at the same time, really hydrates the hair leaving it in great condition. This little travel size tube lasted my two full weeks, so is the perfect amount for a holiday!

As I was away for a while, I also snuck this little pot of Ojon Restorative Hair Treatment Plus into my bag. It is a deep conditioning treatment that you apply to dry hair, leave for 20 minutes and then wash your hair as normal. In the tub it is a hard waxy consistency, but when scooped out and rubbed between the fingers, turns into an oil which really gets to work on damaged hair, leaving it feeling soft and nourished. A complete lifesaver when you are on holiday!

For an extra treat too, I also brought the Charles Worthington Salon At Home Moisture Seal Hair Healer Leave-In Conditioner which I used poolside. After swimming, I left my hair to dry a little, brushed it through with my Wet Brush (post here), and applied a generous amount of this leave-in conditioner through the ends. I really wanted to look after my hair especially after a session in the pool, and this was just the key. It is a gel-cream formula containing Argan Oil that moisturises, smooths and most importantly detangles the hair. This was a great addition to my holiday conditoner wardrobe (lol!) that meant my hair did not suffer after a fornight in the sun!

I’d love to know what your holiday hair essentials are?
