I have really been trying some amazing products since arriving in the US. Here are my favourites from August!
Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm
I have recently reviewed this here, so if you have read that you will not be surprised that it in this months favourites. A fuss-free, fragrance-free cleansing balm that removes everything! It does not strip your skin or cause any irritation, simply does the job intended….really well. Suitable for all skin types too, I highly recommend it if you are looking for a new cleansing balm.
NYX Butter Gloss in Creme Brûlée
These are a recent discovery for me and honestly they have got to be one of the best lip glosses to come from the drugstore, I am literally obsessed! They are the creamiest, smoothest glosses ever and really leave your lips feeling moisturised. I have a couple of shades (which I will be reviewing soon), but the one that I have been wearing the most this month is the shade Creme Brûlée, a creamy nude which is a match made in heaven over the top of Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in Pillowtalk. A total bargain too at only $4.99 (approx £3)!
Glam Glow Youthmud Tinglexfoliate Treatment
This is just amazing stuff, it is a mask that literally does everything and the results are visible from the minute you wash it off. I apply this when my skin is feeling congested, spotty and lacklustre and it does a brilliant job of bringing back to life. It reduces any blemishes and redness, resurfaces the skin by gentle exfoliation which leaves the skin really smooth and bright, without removing natural oils. It also makes my skin feel firmer and plump, so an all round winner. The only downside is the price but for such great results, it is a price I am willing to pay!
This bronzer is literally the only one I have been wearing this past month. I have dedicated a whole post to it here, so you can see all it’s benefits in detail, but I just love how natural it looks whilst making the skin bronzed, glowy and radiant! The best bit is that it also contains SPF 20, so you can take it out and about with you and top up your sun protection on-the-go!
Late to the party I know, but I have recently discovered the amazingness of the brow wiz! I have very sparse brows so need all the help I can get in the brow department. The fine nib allows you to draw precise strokes to create little hair like marks and create a beautiful shape that looks so natural. I still use and love the Anastasia DipBrow Pomade (review here) but now use the brow wiz first to create the shape and definition and apply the pomade over the top to create the fullness that I lack and keep them in place all day. I love the spoolie brush on the end too, which is a great addition for shaping your brows and perfect for your travel make-up bag as no additional tools are needed!
