Clarins HydraQuench Tinted Moisturizer

I have had the Clarins HydraQuench Tinted Moisturizer* (£30/$45) for a while now and have been using it on and off all summer. It is one that I have been using on no make-up days, while on holiday and more recently, on days spent at our town pool. It is part of the HydraQuench line from Clarins which is targeted at dehydrated skins, which during the summer months, most people will benefit from. I have oily/combination skin which is also very dehydrated and find that if I don’t keep it hydrated with the right products, I develop irritated, angry red skin, so like to use products with hyaluronic acid like this does to keep that at bay!

I have the shade 03 Peach which looks a bit dark initially, but once blended into the skin is a pretty good match on my tanned skin (I am Mac NC35 for reference). It contains SPF15, and if you are a regular reader of my blog, you will know that I have to be careful with what SPFs I put on my skin as I brake out with chemical SPFs. The sunscreen ingredients in this are Titanium Dioxide and Iron Oxide which are fine for me to use but I thought I would make you aware of this incase you suffer from sunscreen sensitivities like me.

It has a very dewy finish aided by iridescent shimmer particles to give that fresh faced look. If you are blessed with good skin, this would be your best friend as it gives a beautiful radiance, if however, like me you are not, you may find it slightly too sheer for your needs. It doesn’t really offer enough coverage for me which is why I only save it for no make-up days as day-to-day, I need something that perfects the skin a little better. That said, I absolutely love how it feels on the skin, so lightweight and incredibly hydrating making it perfect for a summer holiday.
