Autumn/Fall Trend | Berry Lips & Tips

Essie Bahama Mama Wet n Wild Sugar Plum Fairy Autumn Fall Beauty Trends

Autumn (or Fall as I have to call it now living in the US), is officially here and the weather here in New York is definitely more autumnal. The sun is still shining but the temperature has dropped so I am actually excited to be able to put on a pair of jeans, something that I haven’t done for about 4 months as it has been too hot. I have also made a couple of new purchases from the drugstore for the upcoming season which I am completely in love with. Berry tones are always on trend for the Fall and this year is no exception. Adding a berry toned lipstick to your everyday make-up and a slick of burgandy nail varnish will completely update your look for the season.

For lips, I picked up Wet n Wild Lipstick in Sugar Plum Fairy, which is supposed to be a dupe for Mac Rebel. I don’t own Rebel so can’t really compare, but this is a vibrant blue-toned currant shade has really vamped up my look ready for the cooler season ahead. These lipsticks are a bargain at $2 (approx ¬£1.20), so the perfect price to be able to experiment with new trends to see if they suit you before spalshing out a bit more.

On my nails, I decided on Essie Bahama Mama which is just the perfect autumnal varnish. It is dark but not too vampy and the dark berry tones are not lost in the finish of this, so complements the skintone rather than washing it out. It is my lastest nail love and can see myself getting a lot of wear from this throughout the Fall.
