I have been trying out lots of new products this month, I am just addicted to Sephora and popping into CVS whenever I get the chance. Everything still seems so new and exciting and I know there are still lots of great products yet to discover. I seem to have lots of favourites this month so I will try not to ramble on too much, I have already written reviews for some of these products, so will leave links those if you want to read more!
Lets start with the biggest and brightest, Cocoa Brown Tough Stuff*, this is just the scrub that I have been looking for all my life! A tad dramatic I know, but it just has the perfect amount of grit, fine but lots of it so it really gets to work. I could literally scrub all day with this, it is so invigorating and does a great job of prepping the body for self tan, leaving your skin smooth and soft. It is a total bargain too! Read more about this and my Cocoa Brown tanning routine here.
Next is my latest coral obsession, Benefit Majorette. I literally blogged about this yesterday so I will save all the details, you can just check out my review here. If coral is your thing, you need to invest in this cutest blush I ever saw!
If you are looking for an eyeshadow that lasts ALL day, without creasing or fading, then the Clarins Ombre Matte Eyeshadows* for you. They have a cream-to-powder formulation, which are dream to apply and easy to blend. You can find my full review here.
Now Autumn is officially here, I treated myself to a new nail varnish, Essie Bahama Mama. It it a gorgeous deep plum shade that is dark but not too gothic and is just the perfect shade for the season. Its Essie too, so you know the formulation is spot on! Read about my new berry purchases here.
To compliment this, I have dug out a product from last Autumn and that is the Bourjois Color Boost Lip Crayon in Plum Russian. What I love about it is that, even though it is a bold statement of a colour, it is so glossy and easy to wear that you can just slick it on without having to be too precise and this shade instantly transforms your look. See it in action here.
The foundation that I have literally worn every day since buying it is the L’Oreal True Match Foundation in the shade W4. It is lightweight, medium coverage, blends easily, contains SPF that doesn’t brake me out and is longlasting! Cheryl is a fan too, and thats enough for me! Check out my review here.
Brightening my eyes each morning has been the First Aid Beauty Eye Duty Triple Remedy which I spoke about last week here. It is a salmon toned eye-cream that you apply using the metal applicator which cools and soothe the eye area and the cream does an amazing job of brightening the under eye ara. A godsend for early risers!
Finally, and by no means least is the Burt’s Bees Honey Lip Balm which I bought for my handbag. I absolutely love the Nuxe Reve de Miel which I still use everyday, but carrying a glass pot round in your bag is not practical, so thought I would give this a go. It contains vitamin E and is 100% natural and does a brilliant job of moisturising my lips. The honey scent is lovely and has proved to be a real handbag essential!
