Hydrating Face Sprays

Hydrating Face Sprays: Liz Earle Skin Tonic, The Body Shop Vitamin E Face Mist, Boscia Balancing Facial Tonic, Caudalie Beauty Elixir

Hydrating face sprays/toners are an essential part of my skincare routine. I use them after cleansing in the morning to hydrate my skin and in the evening to balance my skin after using an exfoliating toner such as the Pixi Glow Tonic. I also use them throughout the day to refresh my face and I think they are especially important on long-haul flights when your skin is prone to dehydration. Here are my pick of the bunch:

Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic Spritzer

I have been through countless bottles of this soothing skin tonic. It contains aloe vera to revitalise and calendula, chamomile, cucumber and vitamin E to soothe and refresh the skin. You get a whopping 200ml in this bottle so it lasts forever and the light floral scent instantly refreshes you. A great one to pick up if you are visiting the UK as they do not sell it here in the US.

The Body Shop Vitamin E Face Mist

The newest addition to my stash is scented with rosewater and sprays out as a lovely fine mist, so is perfect for that mid-day pick up to add a dose of hydration or as part of your skincare routine. The light rose scent is not my favourite of the bunch, however its hydrating properties make it a worthy purchase and it can be also used as a make-up setting spray which makes it a great multi-use product.

Boscia Balancing Facial Tonic

This is my current favourite and has become a staple in my morning and evening skincare routine. It has the most amazing spray on it which distributes the product as a fine mist evenly over the face and balances the skin by adding a refreshing dose of hydration whilst soothing at the same time. I love this and have done a full review of this here.

Caudalie Beauty Elixir

This is my favourite for taking on long-haul flights and carrying in my handbag as this small 30ml bottle doesn’t take up much room. It contains grape, orange blossom, rose, mint and rosemary so is extremely aromatic, making it the perfect pick-me-up when you are feeling under the weather, to revitalise the skin. It also helps to tighten pores and smooth the skin which makes this cult face product more than just a hydrating spray. I cannot be without this! A full review of this can be found here.
