Charlotte Tilbury Full Fat Lashes Mascara
Charlotte Tilbury Full Fat Lashes Mascara

After meeting Charlotte Tilbury herself at her make-up launch at Bergdorf Goodman’s last month, I have been completely obsessed with her products. I was lucky enough to be sent a few items of her collection recently, so will be reviewing these over the coming weeks.

I was super excited to try the Charlotte Tilbury Full Fat Lashes 5 Star Mascara*, as I know from watching Charlotte’s YouTube videos, it was the one thing that she was extremely fussy about getting right when formulating her products. Too often she used different kinds of mascara, whether that be volumising, lengthening, separating etc., all just to create one look. She therefore wanted to create a mascara that did everything at once. The brush is laser cut into a 5-point star (which I tried to photograph, but was too technical for my abilities I’m afraid!), designed to curl and separate lashes and add volume, drama and length.

Since the first day I tried this mascara, I have not worn anything else, it is truely AMAZING! I literally cannot get enough of it, my lashes look incredible. The firm brush makes application so easy, you are able to get right into the root of the lash without disturbing the rest of your eye make-up. My eyes feel as though they have had a lift as this really does open them up and keep the lashes curled. I don’t actually curl my lashes as I am lucky enough to have a natural curl to them, but this mascara accuentuates the curl and keeps them in place all day.

It is sometimes hard to find a mascara than volumises and lengthens really well, they are normally good at doing one or the other, but this actually does both whilst seperating the lashes at the same. My lashes look so dramatic and beautifully long, I really do have Full Fat Lashes and am completely besotted! It actually takes a lot for a mascara to impress me, and I always find myself going back to my reliable friend, Maybelline The Falsies which has been sitting at the top spot for so long. This, however, may have just pushed it off the top, at $29/£22 it is a lot pricer but is 100% worth the spluge!

Available from Nordstrom, Beautylish, Net-a-Porter and Selfridges.
