Bridesmaid Beauty

On New Years Eve, I was bridesmaid at my best friends wedding which was incredible and I was so happy I was able to make it. I flew overnight from New York to London arriving the morning of the 30th, only getting about 2 hours sleep on, needless to say I was feeling quite tired. Even though I had done my inflight skincare routine, having so little sleep plays havoc with my skin.

On the morning of the wedding, even after getting some sleep, I still felt incredibly jet lagged, but I was so excited for the day ahead that I pushed on through. I started my skincare with the REN Flash Rinse 1 Minute Facial which really perks up the skin leaving it so soft and smooth. Following this I applied the Shiseido Benefiance Express Soothing Eye Mask, which literally saved the day! These are two pads that you place underneath the eyes for 15 minutes and when removed, pat the remanning solution into the skin. My eyes felt incredible after using these, I felt like a new woman, all the burning feeling that I had surrounding my eyes completely disappeared and left me with smooth, hydrated skin, they were amazing. I got this as part of the Sephora Favourites Skin Wonderland set before Christmas, but I shall definitely be stocking up for emergencies and for when I have jet lag.

After toning I applied a generous layer of Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream*, which hydrates and plumps up the skin like nothing else, I cannot get enough of this at the moment. Following this I also used a sample I had of the Charlotte Tilbury Wonder Glow, which acts as a primer whilst also creating a subtle radiant glow to the skin, it is beautiful. I was then ready to do my make up which I have listed below so you can see what I used. One new product that I really loved was the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder Palette, of which I used Radiant Light, a beautiful setting powder with a subtle glow that left my skin looking fresh and radiant.

I was planning to use the Tanya Burr Individual Lashes, as thought they would be perfect for adding extra definition to the eyes in a subtle way, but decided against it on the day as the Tarte Gifted Mascara worked wonders and didn’t feel the need for anything else! I spritzed my skin with my favorite Jo Malone Nectarine Blossom and Honey Cologne and my nails were painted with Essie Back In The Limo. I had a hairdresser to do my hair, so this was one thing I didn’t have to worry about! Here is the finished look, these were pictures that I took on my iPhone during the day so apologies for the quality, you get the idea though!
