Discovering Diptyque

Discovering Diptyque | Eau Duelle EDT and Jasmin Candle

So this Christmas, Santa was extremely generous and bought me some Diptyque in the form of Eau Duelle EDT and Jasmin Candle. I have only ever owned a mini candle from the brand previous to this, so was ecstatic to receive some of the things that have been high on my wish list for a while now.

Diptyque Eau Duelle is a highly coveted fragrance, that gets a great deal of blog coverage, but this is totally justified as it is one of the nicest scents I have tried in a long time. It is predominantly vanilla, which can often be too sickly, but the spices and frankincense in it give it a warmth that is just incredible and feels so comforting in the winter. I have been wearing this daily since I got it, it is that good!

I also got one of their candles in the scent Jasmin. This is actually more of a summer scent, as to me, the smell of Jasmine always transports me back to holidays in Menorca, where it grows freely at the side of the road and the smell just wafts through the air. It is like having the smell of the mediterranean in your home! Of course once this is finished, it will also live again as a brush holder on my vanity, it would almost be rude not to recycle such a pretty jar!

Come and join me!
