Prepare to swoon! When I saw that Too Faced’s newest launch for Spring 2015 was this stunning blusher and bronzer compact in the shape of a heart, I was straight online to Sephora! Seriously, have you ever seen anything so gorgeous?
The Too Faced Soul Mates Blushing Bronzer ($34), is exactly how it sounds, a beautiful bronzer paired with pretty blush in one handy compact! It comes in two variations, Ross & Rachel, which contains a medium to dark bronzer and pink blush, and Carrie & Big, containing a light to medium bronzer with a coral blush. I just love the names of these compacts, both are well-loved, iconic TV couples that everyone seems to connect with. They are both stunning, but as I tend to wear more peach and coral toned blushers, I opted for Carrie & Big.
The bronzer, which is described as shimmering, actually does not contain any obvious shimmering particles, but instead leaves a beautiful radiant, sun-kissed glow to the face. It is fairly light in tone, so anyone with a darker complexion that my medium skin tone, should perhaps opt for the Ross and Rachel, as the bronzer is darker. For me though, especially now my skin is probably at its lightest, this bronzer is just perfection. It blends well and is extremely buildable, I actually achieved quite a deep color by layering it.
The coral blush is right up my street and adds a brightness to the bronzed cheek. I started applying each shade separately, which worked well, but found the nicest way to apply was to pop my brush in the blush, pop it on the cheeks and then pick up the bronzer and blend together to create a really healthy looking glow, which hopefully you can see from these pictures.
This is such a beautiful product, that I cannot wait to take away with me on my upcoming holidays. I really think that it will come into its own with a bit of a tan. It is also a great one for the handbag or clutch as it cuts down on products and if you are anything like me, bronzer and blush are the two things that I always like to take with me to top-up during the day!
Come and join me!
