Aside from shampoo and conditioner, there has been only one other product that I have been using religiously on my hair for the past six weeks. When I visited my hairdresser last, there was a section of my hair that had literally snapped off, which was quite worrying. He said this could be down to a number of things, over processing, too much heat styling, not enough moisture, and although I religiously apply a hair mask once a week, my hair hair is very fine so the blow drying and straightening on top of my color treated hair is a recipe for breakage! He recommended Kerastase Ciment Thermique, a heat activated reconstructor milk for weakened hair. It is a leave-in product which you apply to damp hair before blow drying, I like to smooth it through the lengths of my hair and then comb it through so it is evenly distributed. This product stays in your hair for a few days, so I tend to use it every other time I wash my hair.
Ciment Thermique is one of Kerastaste’s best selling products and works to strengthen and rebuild the hair from the inside out, whilst also repairing the outer layer by leaving a protective topcoat on the hair. One thing I am always weary of having fine hair, is that that cream products tend to weigh my hair down causing it to look flat and lank. I was assured that this wouldn’t happen with this product and am pleased to report it doesn’t, if anything, it makes my hair appear bouncier and gives it a beautiful shine!
After over a month of using Kerastase Ciment Thermique, I am absolutely thrilled with the results, my hair feels a lot healthier, bouncier and smoother. I don’t have any split ends and my hair just looks good every day now. I have to say that I have been also using a Kerastase shampoo and conditioner too which may have also added to my better hair days, but I really think that this product is great for anyone with damaged hair who struggles with maintaing their style.
Girls with thick hair will be happy too, as this is meant to reduce the amount of time it takes to blow dry your hair. I can’t really comment on this as my fine hair literally takes about fives minutes to dry, so this is not a concern of mine!
I purchased mine at my hair salon, but I would highly recommend buying from Look Fantastic, where it was over $10 cheaper plus they deliver worldwide for free! I bought my other Kerastase shampoo and conditioner from them and it took less than a week to arrive. They always have great money off codes if you sign up on their website! (I am not affiliated with them, I just think they offer a great service and fantastic prices).
I really think Kerastase products are fantastic, yes they are not the cheapest but they always have delivered great results for me and is a brand that I can always rely on.
