La Roche-Posay Serozinc

La Roche Posay Serozinc

If there is one skincare product that I have been dying to get my hands on for years, then it is the cult French pharmacy face spray, La Roche Posay Serozinc. If you read this post, you will know how obsessed I am with facial sprays, so I was delighted when one of my favorite UK beauty websites, Escentual started stocking it. Unfortunately for me, because this product comes in a pressurized container, they are unable to ship to the US, however, I was able to stock up on a recent trip to the UK.

Serozinc is a zinc sulphate solution in a spray can which targets blemishes, red marks and excess oiliness. As with all spray toners, it can be used at any time of the day to refresh and treat the skin, but I predominantly use at night after an exfoliating toner (post on double toning here). Ideally I would like to use it in the mornings too, but I have a limited supply of this and find it very effective at night. I simply mist it over the skin, let it soak in and continue with the rest of my skincare routine.

Since starting to use this about three weeks ago, my skin tone has dramatically improved. My pores seem more refined, redness is reduced and most importantly blemishes are practically none existent. My skin is seriously the clearest it has been in a long time and this has definitely has played a major part in treating it (see what other skincare treats I have been loving recently here). I was slightly worried because it is targeted at oily, blemish-prone skin, that it may dry out my dehydrated skin, but am delighted that my skin still feels hydrated with this. I would therefore say that it would be suited to all skin types, but especially those that suffer from blemishes and skin irritations.

I will be very sad when my stock (I picked up two cans!) comes to an end, I will have to make sure my British visitors bring me a supply!

Have you tried Serozinc?
