I have developed a bit of an obsession with sheer lipsticks over the past few months. For me they are the fuss-free way of adding a tint of color to your lips, that can be applied anywhere, anytime, without the aid of a mirror and never look over the top but still manage to complete a look. They hydrate the lips well so are perfect for the summer months when that much needed moisture is needed and apply so easily they literally glide across the lips!
I have reviewed all of the lipsticks mentioned in full previously so I will link their reviews below, but would highly recommend any of them if you are in the market for a sheer lipstick this summer!
Marc Jacobs New Nudes Sheer Lip Gel in Understudy (Review)
Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment in Nude (Review)
Burberry Lip Glow in Orange Poppy (Review)
Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment in Berry (Review)
Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in Evasion (Review)
Chanel Les Beiges Hydrating Lip Balm in No. 10 (Review)
Tarte Amazonian Butter Lipstick in Park Ave Princess (Review)
Lipstick Queen Endless Summer Lipstick in Aloha (Review)
As you can see from the swatches, there are a lot of nude options, but for the more adventurous, Lipstick Queen in Aloha is the perfect summer red for those who are scared of anything too opaque, the Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment in Berry is a great plum/berry shade for Autumn, Burberry Orange Poppy offers a lovely vibrancy and one of my all-time favorites, Marc Jacobs Understudy adds a touch more opacity whilst still remaining sheer on the lips.
Which is your favorite?
