Back in July I reviewed the Unforgettable Mink Lashes from Esqido, which I instantly fell in love with for their effortless application, comfort, and the way they gave my eyes the added drama whilst still managing to look as natural as possible. I mentioned then that they did not come with glue to apply them, but just recently Esqido have launched their Companion Eyelash Glue, the perfect companion to apply their gorgeous lashes. I was lucky enough to be sent the BFF lashes with the Companion Eyelash Glue to test out.
The Esqido BFF Lashes* ($36) are part of their Classic Collection and give a lovely amount of length without being too over the top. I think they are a great pair of lashes for wearing during the day if you want something fairly natural looking but require that extra length. Personally, these are the style of lashes I would even wear on a night out for that extra drama as I personally don’t like the look of heavy false lashes and these add just that right amount of glamour!
The new Esqido Companion Eyelash Glue* ($10) made application completely fuss free with its fine precision brush. With this unique applicator, the glue can be easily painted onto the strip of the lash, without any clumping. Within a few seconds, the glue goes tacky and becomes clear so you don’t see any of that white excess you can get with other lash glues. This made it easier to see where you were placing the lashes on your eyes and definitely made application so much easier. Once set in place, the glue does not budge and my lashes lasted all day.
The glue itself is formaldehyde and latex-free so great for sensitive eyes and is also especially formulated for mink lashes (although would be great for any type of lashes) to extend the wear of them. I noticed that I didn’t get that nasty glue clumping to the lashes when I removed them, so didn’t have to pick at the band to remove the glue. It is very fine and lightweight and you hardly need to apply any, so this tube will no doubtedly last a long time. Hands down the best eyelash glue I have ever used!
