My December has been the best month of the year by far, with the lead up and excitement of Christmas and even more special was the birth of my baby daughter, Evie who is just amazing. As a now mum of two, I have spent more time at home than out and about this past month, so haven’t really been experimenting too much with make up, nevertheless I have discovered a few products that I have been really enjoying!
Pureology Pure Volume Instant Levitation Mist*
I have been testing quite a few Pureology products out this month and have honestly been loving them all. One styling product that stands out though is this volume spray which works wonders on my fine, flat hair, by adding much needed volume and body, without any product feel to it!
Dr Brandt Oxygen Facial Flash Recovery Mask*
This mask has been a saviour whilst having a newborn baby and is like no other mask I have tried before. You apply a layer to damp skin, which then foams up (and makes you look rather silly!), but a few minutes later it dissolves and you rinse the residue away. The result is instantly revived skin, that feels brighter, more radiant and less exhausted!
Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Eyeshadow Palette (review)
This is my makeup must-have of the month, which was totally fueled by my Gwen Stefani obsession. This gorgeous palette of 15 shadows, comprises of mainly neutrals with the addition of a few bright and unique shadows. They apply and blend easily and the gold and white packaging is just to die for – a collectors item indeed!
My Kit Co. ‘My Blush & Powder’ Brush
My Kit Co. is a newly launched UK brush company who’s brushes are designed by makeup artist James Malloy. I bought a selection from the site (who ship internationally) and am so impressed with the quality of these. The one that I have used and loved the most this month is the ‘My Blush & Powder’ brush which is honestly the softest brush I have ever used. I have mainly used it for bronzer and love that it applies it evenly and blends seamlessly. I will be reviewing these brushes shortly on my blog!
Weleda Stretch Mark Oil
In the last couple of weeks of my pregnancy, I tried out this purse-friendly stretch mark oil which has been a great find. Not only did it prevent me getting any new marks but has also faded some old ones and my skin feel soft and supple to boot!
Jo Malone Woodsage & Sea Salt Cologne*
I have been coveting this fragrance for while now and was kindly gifted it this month and literally cannot put it down! It is inspired by breaking waves and the air fresh from the sea salt and spray so is wonderfully fresh yet has an earthiness to it which makes it quite sophisticated! My husband loves the scent too so would definitely say that it has a touch of masculinity abut it too!
What beauty products have you been loving this month?
Stay tuned for my Best of Beauty 2015, coming up next week!
