Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Blush Palette | Review & Swatches

Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Blush

If you saw my review on the Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Eyeshadow Palette, you will know how I excited I was with this collaboration. If you didn’t know by now, she has also released a whole host of other gorgeous products including lots of beautiful lipsticks and lipliners, a brow palette and probably the most aesthetically pleasing of them all, this blush palette.

Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Blush

The Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Blush Palette is a collection of what I originally though were six blushes, but in actual fact you have four blushes, a bronzer and highlighter, so really everything you need for the cheeks, packaged up in a sturdy, yet oh-so stylish white and gold case, that mimics the design of the eyeshadow palette.

The shades included in this palette are:
Cherry (light pink satin)
Easy (deep rose with gold shimmer)
Angel (champagne-nude shimmer)
Hush (medium pink with gold shimmer)
Lo-Fi (bronzer – soft matte bronze)
OC (highlighter – soft pink with peach shift)

I am more a peach/nude blush wearer than I am pink, so will probably not get an awful lot of wear from Easy, however, Cherry gives a beautiful fresh flush to the cheeks. I think Hush is possibly my favorite and even though it is the highlight shade, OC looks amazing as a blush too as it has a peachy-pink duo chrome effect that looks incredible when it catches the light. Lo-Fi is a beautiful soft shade of bronze that subtly warms up the skin, so could also be worn as a blush and finally Angel adds a touch of nude shimmer to the cheeks.

All the blushes apply very well, and have Urban Decay’s Afterglow formula, which is meant to last for up to 8 hours. Now I haven’t really timed the length of wear, but these blushes definitely are long wearing as I noticed my blush was still in tact at the end of the day. These blushes are fairly pigmented, but because of their fine texture, they blend really well into the skin, especially when using my new favorite brush, the My Kit Co. 0.5 Blush & Powder Brush (review).

I am delighted with this palette and have been wearing it most days recently. I think there is a great selection of shades that would suit most skin tones and I love how convenient it is for travel. If you are a Gwen Stefani fan, then you will probably buy this anyway, however, Gwen aside it is beautiful collection of shades that are easy to wear and can take you from dusk to dawn!
