Jo Malone Geranium & Walnut Hand Cream

Jo Malone Gernaium & Walnut Hand Cream

Now we are well and truly in the thick of Winter, hand cream should be an essential in your beauty arsenal. Constantly going from the warm heat of your home to the freezing cold weather outside, can play havoc with your skin, and that is all of your skin, not just your face, your body, feet and hands are susceptible to environmental damage so should be treated with care. At this time of year especially, I always have a tube in my bag, one on my desk and also by my bed to remind me to frequently apply, because it is definitely a product that can be overlooked, causing dry and even chapped and flaky hands which is not pleasant.

My new favorite product is the Jo Malone Geranium & Walnut Hand Cream, which I purchased at Duty Free in the UK at the beginning of December (side note, always stock up on Jo Malone at the airport in the UK, there are big savings to be had, this cost me £18/$22 and currently retails for $30 plus tax in the US!). It has a delicate floral fragrance brought by the geranium, but also has a warmth from the Walnut, which is very pleasant indeed. This scent was created to compliment each and every Jo Malone Fragrance, and I definitely agree, it doesn’t overpower at all!

Fragrance aside, it is the formula of the Jo Malone Geranium & Walnut Hand Cream that really impresses me. It is so creamy and rich that your hands instantly feel nourished on application, yet it is lightweight and absorbs instantly, which is down to the apricot kernel oil in it. I was blown away by how immediately it sinks in, so there is none of that greasy residue you can sometime get with hand creams, which means you can get about your business straight away, so a great option for your desk at work!

The slim, sleek packaging makes it perfect for your handbag or travels and of course with all Jo Malone products, it gets packaged beautifully, so would of course make the perfect gift too!

What is your favorite hand cream?
