Nuxe is a French pharmacy brand that I have known for some time, their Reve De Miel Lip Balm is my all-time favorite and is just the best at preventing and healing chapped lips, I slather this on my lips every night without fail! Nuxe kindly offered to send me some of their best selling products* recently, so I was excited to be able to try some of their other products and to see if they were as good as my beloved lip balm!

I have actually previously tried their famous Huile Prodigieuse, a luxurious, multi purpose oil that smells like a dream and is gorgeously hydrating on limbs, hair and skin, so was only too happy to use this again. It is a dry oil which means that is absorbed quickly into the skin and doesn’t leave a greasy film, meaning you can get dressed immediately after use and has a spray, making it super easily to apply without over doing it. I mostly use this as a body moisturizer when I come out of the shower, but it can also be used as a hair oil and on the face. They also sell this oil with the addition of golden shimmer in it, which I think would be amazing for the summer and vacations!

In addition to the Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Oil, there is the Precious Scented Shower Oil and Precious Scented Body Lotion that both have the same captivating scent as the Huile Prodigieuse, which is the combination of of orange blossom, magnolia and vanilla, which smells so luxurious. The Nuxe Precious Scented Shower Oil is a sulphate-free product meaning it won’t dry out your skin and has a fine golden shimmer running through it which leaves the skin with a satin finish. It is a lovely sensuous product that is a welcome addition to my morning shower. The Precious Body Lotion complements the shower oil, and is a fast-absorbing lotion that keeps the skin hydrated throughout the day!

As a huge fan of the Reve de Miel lip balm, I was excited to try the Nuxe Reve De Miel Gentle Shampoo from the same line. It comes in a pump-style bottle which is very handy in the shower and has a lovely honey-like scent to it. As someone with fine hair, I tend to wash my hair most days so need a shampoo to be gentle and not weight it down too much. I love this shampoo and have nearly finished the whole bottle, it is very lightweight and leaves my hair feeling soft and manageable!

Finally onto skincare, the Nuxe Melting Cleansing Gel with rose petals sounded right up my street! It is soap free so doesn’t dry out the skin and I love its creamy formula. The only off-putting thing with this cleanser is the scent, it smells so strongly of roses, almost artificial, so if you do not like strong smelling products, this won’t be for you. I have been using this as my morning cleanse and it leaves my skin clean and comfortable, but probably not a product I would repurchase because of the scent.

I really like Nuxe as a brand, their Prodigieuse and Reve de Miel lines are beautiful and are products that I would definitely repurchase. As for my favorite, I think it has got to be the Huile Prodigieuse for it’s multi-use abilities and beautiful scent, I may have to buy the shimmery one for my next vacation!
