May Favourites

May has seemed to fly by! I’ve had such a great month especially though going on holiday to Menorca with my family. I have been trying out a fair few beauty products too, so here is what I have been loving thoughout the month of May:

Clarins Melting Gel Cleanser
I love this gel cleanser which when massaged into dry skin turns to a beautiful smelling oil which then turns to a milk when water is added and washed away. I remove it using a hot flannel and it leaves my skin clean and comfortable. The travel friendly tube makes it easy to travel with too and was a great addition to my holiday skincare routine. It’s a beautiful cleanser which I look forward to using every night.

Origins Dr. Weil Mega Mushroom Skin Calming Face Mask
I foolishly forgot to take this on holiday with me and boy did I miss it. This mask soothes my skin drawing out impurities and calms down any redness, perfect for sensitive skins like mine that break out at the drop of a hat! Definite holy grail! Keep posted for a full review soon.

Balance Me Radiance Face Oil
Although I have a good skincare routine, I had this annoying patch of flaky red skin on my nose. After a twitter conversation with Balance Me, they suggested I use this and it really has worked wonders. In just a few applications, the flakiness disappeared and redness was reduced. Looking forward to seeing further results and using it in conjunction with the Skin Bright Hydrating Face Mist too which they recommended for my dehydrated skin.

The Body Shop Coconut Body Butter
Body Shop body butters are the one thing I go back to time and time again, they really are the ultimate body moisturiser. I picked this one up in one of their recent 40% off sales which come around every now and again and it is the most divine smell for summer. It is a thick butter which melts into the skin easily leaving a beautiful coconut scent that last all day. Highly recommended!

Chanel Soliel Tan de Chanel
A cheeky purchase at duty free, but one that I had been wanting for ages and has graced my cheeks ever since! I love the natural bronze glow it gives to your face and it has now taken pride of place on my dressing table. Simply gorgeous! You can read my full review here.

Revlon One Perfect Coral Nail Enamel
The most perfect summer shade and one that I have previously raved about here. The formula is great and applies well, but for me it is the colour that does it. This corally red polish looks equally great on fingers and toes, I only have to look at it to feel summery. It is currently reduced in Boots at the moment too, I urge you to treat yourself!

Avon Earthen Rose Blush
This has been in my stash for a while but recently started using it again after my holiday and absolutely love it. It is a dark peachy colour that could almost be likened to a bronzer for paler skins and gives the skin a beautiful glow and looks gorgeous with my (rapidly fading) tan! Unfortunately Avon have stopped making this, although I found loads on eBay for about £3-4!
