My Daily Make-Up #1

Day-to-day, during the week my make-up stays pretty much the same, mainly because I don’t have time to experiment with products. Then, I may buy some new products or rediscover old ones and change up my look. I thought I would do a little post every so often on what I’ve been enjoying lately in my make-up bag.

Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation is a long-lasting, medium to full coverage foundation that I have been enjoying for a while, however over the summer months I have had to buy a darker shade, so now ‘Cashew Beige’ suits my tanned skin perfectly. It is quite a thick foundation but once blended into the skin using the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush, it doesn’t look heavy at all and covers all my imperfections beautifully.

I have really been enjoying Clinique Airbrush Concealer underneath my eyes (posted about it here). It’s lightweight formula means that it doesn’t crease in any fine lines and doesn’t feel heavy at all in the hot weather. This conceals my dark circles perfectly and as I use the shade ‘light’, it also brightens the area.

It’s a classic for a reason, but I am sadly coming towards the end of my beloved Nars Laguna Bronzer (review here). I love the way it can be used both as a contour and an all-over colour, leaving the skin with the perfect colour that’s not too orange, and matte but not dull due to the subtle gold flecked throughout it. I am savouring every sweep!

The ultimate lazy-girls eyeshadow comes in the form of Clinique Chubby Stick for Eyes. I have the shade Fuller Fudge, a shimmery chocolate brown which really compliments my green eyes. It is easily ‘drawn-on’ the lid and blended out with a Mac 217, easy peasy!

Finally, a coat of my favourite Maybelline Baby Lips, Pink Punch, leaves a bright but sheer pop of pink gorgeousness to my lips (review here). Great for touch-ups on the go as no mirror is required, and looks so pretty with a tan, so I am trying to make the most of it while I can!

What has been in your daily make-up bag recently?
