My Skin Hearts #2

I have been trying out a few new skincare products recently, so here is the lowdown of my current top picks! The Origins Ginzing Energy Boosting Moisturiser has graced many a beauty blog and it has been getting great reviews. I have been using this as my daytime moisturiser and have been loving its light texture, amazing smell and hydrating properties. It is a lightweight, oil-free gel like formula which sinks into the skin easily and makes it great under make-up as is not greasy at all. It contains coffee bean and panax ginseng which really perk up the skin leaving it bright and glowy. I have been loving this and it’s gorgeous smell of oranges definitely perks me up in the morning. A great price point too for origins at £23 for 50ml. I will doing a full review of this soon after I have used it a bit more.

Continuing the orange theme, the Super Facialist by Una Brennan Vitamin C+ Brighten Skin Renew Cleansing Oil has been my make up remover of choice recently. Used as the first step of my double cleanse, it removes all my make-up whilst nourishing my skin in preparation for my second cleanse. I love the feeling of it being massaged into my skin and it does a great job at removing every scrap of make-up. The only negative is the impractical bottle…I need a pump! You can read a full review of this in my recent post here.

Finally, I have been looking for a decent eye cream for a while now, and having used and loved Hydraluron, I thought I would try Eysilix Instant Eye Rescue the eye cream produced by the same brand Indeed Labs. This no frills eye cream is the perfect texture for me, not too runny, not too creamy and slightly gel-like which I find easy to use both morning and night. It is lightweight and easily absorbed and although probably a bit too early to say how it helps my crows feet, I have definitely noticed that my dark circles have improved. I have been using a lot less under eye concealer, and as a mum whose sleep is often disrupted, this is a great benefit for me. I will however report back once I have used it for longer for a full review.
