November Favourites

Here is what I have been loving during November:

Bourjois Healthy Balance Powder

This finely milled pressed powder has been a welcome addition to my make-up bag this month and does a great job in preventing shine as well as adding a touch of coverage, without being too masking. I have shade 53 which is a perfect match for my medium skintone and according to Amelia, it is a great dupe for Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Powder, which I am loving as it is a fraction of the price. I think the plastic packaging could be improved on but the product itself is just perfect!

Nars Guy Bourdin One Stand Blush Palette

You are probably sick of me raving about this palette but I have literally been using this non-stop this month. I have been away quite a bit this month and it has been perfect for travel as has all my cheek needs inside one convenient palette. I have also discovered my new favourite blush, Deep Throat, which I have been wanting to try for years and will definitely be a staple in my make-up bag. Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipsticks

I have the shades Lets Get Naked and Nude Delight, both of which I have been wearing in rotation and cannot get enough of them. Their creamy moisturising formula makes them an essential in your winter make-up bag to ensure your lips don’t dry out and both these neutral shades have been complementing a smokey eye perfectly. I cannot rate them highly enough, check out my full review here.

Philosophy Christmas Cookie

I picked this up in the sale last Christmas and it has been in my stash since then, so I recently decided to crack it open. It is a multi-functional product which can be used on the hair, in the bath or how I like to use it, as a shower gel. It smells amazing, literally like freshly baked cookies and the scent lingers around for ages. It has a lovely creamy formula which means you don’t have to use much, so I can see this bottle lasting well into the new year. Dissapointingly, they are not selling this again this year, however, it can be found in one of their gift sets here.

Real Techniques Setting Brush

I have had this brush for a while now, but have only really used it for highlighting which it is perfect for adding just the right amount of product so you don go OTT! However, I have just started using this to blend concealer, both under-eye and on blemishes and now I am addicted! It does such a great job of buffing it into the skin creating a flawless base and have been also using if with the aforementioned Bourjois Healthy Balance Powder to set  the concealer in place. I have found that using this brush makes my base last longer and gives me great coverage. This brush is so multi-functional, I may even have to buy a second one!

Yes! Nurse Hand Cream

If you, like me get chapped dry hands during the winter, then this is the hand cream for you. Its soothing formula is perfect for the driest of hands and even suitable for sensitive skin as doesn’t cause any irritation. It is definitely an essential product for winter to keep your hands soft and supple. I have recently reviewed it here
