KIKO Haul & Mini Reviews

Having seen so many great reviews about Kiko recently, I thought I would make a cheeky little order to see what all the fuss was about. Kiko is an Italian make-up brand that has recently launched in the UK and now has a huge flagship store on Regent Street, London. I ordered online though and as it was my first order I got free delivery!

The man in reason for my order was the eyeshadow Palette 01 Lounge Warm Tones which at time of order was half price at only £8.60, how could I resist?! It contains six buttery soft eyeshadows that are fantastically pigmented. The warm shades really suit my skintone and the bronze and aubergine colours compliment my green eyes nicely. It’s a beautiful palette and I think I will get a lot of use out of it.

I bought the Bronzer Powder in 103 Terracotta by recommendation of Amelia, who tweeted me some of her Kiko faves. This matte bronzer is very warm in tone so really does give you that lovely tanned look with a sweep of a brush, I say sweep because it too is very pigmented and only a little is neede to make you look like you have had a week in the sun! Probably too warm to contour with and this shade is quite deep so not for fairer skintones. There are however, six shades to chose from.

The product that I had heard to most about was the Long Lasting Stick Eyeshadow, and I chose shade 06, a shimmery bronzey brown. I love this so much, it is quick and easy to apply and lovely and blendable, making it the perfect product for running under your lower lash line. Lovely all over the lid too, great for when you are in a rush as it gives smokey eyes in a second!

A haul wouldn’t be a haul without a pop of coral! I decided to pop the Quick Dry Nail Lacquer in 803 Coral in my basket, mainly because it was coral and it was also on offer for only £2.50! I am mega impressed with this polish, it applies smoothly and evenly and dried really quickly. The other day I was in a rush, so applied it without base or top coats and it did not chip for 4 days, and even then it was minimal! Fabulous colour too, although I really don’t need any more coral nail polishes…somebody stop me!

I did buy just one more thing, but you will have to wait until next week to see what it is….I may possibly be giving it away too!

Have you tried anything from Kiko? Would love to hear some more recommendations.
