GlamGlow Sample Sexy

If there is one skincare brand that has impressed me the most this year, it has got to be GlamGlow. Back in May I bought a small pot of the original GlamGlow Youthmud and have to say it has got to be one of the best face masks I have ever used. The results were instant, my complexion felt clearer, smoother and glowing. I had seen that there were also a few other masks in their collection, and as I went on their website to find out about them, I stumbled on this. The GlamGlow Sample Sexy is a selection of four of their masks: Youthmud, Supermud, Thirstymud and Brightmud and is available for $11.99 on their US website. There is also a similar alternative on the UK website too. I am so impressed with all of these masks, so thought I would tell my thoughts about each mask which will hopefully help you decide if it’s the mask for you.

GlamGlow Youthmud Tinglexfoliate Treatment

This clay mask has cult status for good reason as it really does improve your skin instantly. It contains French Sea Clay to detoxify the skin by drawing out impurities, Green Tea Leaf for its anti-aging properties, Ivy to tone and tighten and Volcanic Rock to exfoliate. I had a small pot of this previously to buying this pack so have used it about 8 times now. The instant you apply this mask it makes your face tingle, it could be too much for some, but I love the feeling that it is getting to work on all my problem areas. After 10 minutes the mask can be removed and when doing so, the pumice in it, does an amazing job of exfoliating the skin, leaving it soft, smooth and bright. The results of this mask are amazing, my skin is noticeable more radiant, angry blemishes are significantly reduced and everything just feels tighter and brighter. I have combination to oily skin that is also dehydrated and what I love about this is that it tackles all my problem areas without stripping it leaving it dry. If you haven’t tried this mask you need to get involved!

GlamGlow Supermud Clearing Treatment

This was the mask that I was dying to try as it a clearing treatment to target, prevent and heal problem skin, and problem skin I definitely have. It can be used as a mask or just on problem areas. The difference I noticed straightaway was this does not tingle like the Youthmud and does not contain the exfoliating pumice. It is still a mud mask but it is smooth and contains Activated-X Charcoal which draws out dirt from pores like a magnet to decongest the skin, whilst other ingredients help to brighten and soften. Again with this mask I had instant results, my skin looked clearer and my skin was smoother and brighter. I had a couple of large, angry under the skin blemishes when I applied this and they had definitely reduced and stopped throbbing once I washed this off. As I have only used this once, I can’t really say if I prefer it or not to the Youthmud, but it does a mighty job of sorting out angry, blemish prone skin. Perhaps if you are not a lover of the tingly sensation and exfoliating particles you get with the Youthmud, then this may be the mask for you.

GlamGlow Thirstymud Hydrating Treatment

Following a clay mask, I often like to apply an overnight hydrating mask (see post about this here) to ensure moisture is locked into my skin and leave it plumped and nourished. The GlamGlow Thirstymud is like a tropical paradise on your skin as it smells incredible! It uses new advanced technology and ingredients to hydrate, restore, replenish and calm the skin. It can be used as a quick 10 to 20 minute mask for a quick dose of hydration, or as I like to use it, overnight. It feels so nice on the skin and instantly refreshes it and by the morning my skin felt incredibly plumped, hydrated and glowing. I am not sure if it is any better than the Origins Drink-Up Mask which I am a faithful fan of, but it definitely delivers great results. Perfect for those longhaul flights too!

GlamGlow Brightmud Eye Treatment

If you suffer from sleep deprivation, late nights and early mornings, this product is for you! This little capsule contains two little bubbles filled with the treatment, one for each eye, although there is enough in one bubble for both eyes, so I managed to get another treatment out of this! You apply the gel-like treatment all around the eye from the orbital bone to the lid, lie back for 3 minutes and wipe off. It contains something called Tapwipe Bioactive Mud which contains active ingredients to mimimise puffiness, dark circles and fine lines whilst also brightening and hydrating the eyes. It is AMAZING! After a sleepless night, I applied this and literally felt like a new woman. It firstly made me feel more awake as it has a gentle tingling sensation to it, but aside from that, my eye area was just so bright and refreshed. My skin felt lifted and hydrated, my dark circles were practically non-existant, and my fine lines were less noticeable. I dont really suffer from puffiness unless I have been crying so cant really comment on that, but I’m sure it would do wonders! I will be sure to stock up on these asap!

I am so impressed with all these treatments from GlamGlow, they are on the pricey side at $69 for the full size product but when you know they deliver amazing results, it is defintely worth the investment. You also get a 25% discount code with the pack, which I will be taking full advantage of.
