I always think that stocking fillers are some of the most exciting presents to buy, they are not the main present, but tokens of thoughtfulness that you know whoever you are buying for will love. They also need to be small enough to fit into whatever size sticking you have so beauty gifts are perfect for this as there is a whole array of mini-sized products available to buy, which are great to try out a new brand or save for when you travel. If you are buying for a women in your life, a beauty product or two is always going to be a winner! Here are some of the things that I think would make ideal stocking fillers this year!
Ole Henriksen 3 Little Wonders Mini Collection ($22.50) is a great gift to try out some new skincare and you really cannot go wrong with Ole. I have tried a few of his products recently and they have really impressed. These threee little minis would be a great introduction to the brand.
Bite Beauty Lip Minis ($12) are just so cute, I had to snap them up when I saw them. I have both the Luminius Creme Lipstick Duo (which I reviewed here) and also the Lush Fruit Lip Gloss which come in little boxes with ribbon so you can actually hang them on the tree if you wanted too. I have not tried the gloss (as it is a present), but the luminous creme lipstick is one of the nicest formulations I have tried and being able to try two shades is just perfection!
Perfume Rollerballs and mini sprays make the perfect stocking filler. They are great to try out if you are not sure you will like the fragrance, but also great for carrying with you in your handbag or for travel as they are only 10ml/0.33oz so take up no room at all. I have bought the Stella McCartney L.I.L.Y. ($25) for someone this year, which is their favourite perfume, so this will be great to let them top it up during the day without carrying a huge bottle with them! There are so many perfumes that do this now in the US, but unfortunately this hasn’t really taken off in the UK just yet, sorry!
Another product that could also be used as a tree present is the Caudalie Beauty Elixir ($18) which is one of my all time favourite products, check out my review here. It is great as a refresher during the day, as part of your skincare routine and is amazing as an inflight pick-me-up which I talked about here. It is great for all skintypes and would be suitable for women of all ages. The festive packaging on this is really cute too!
FInally, and probably the most luxurious is the Charlotte Tilbury Lip Lustre in Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds ($22/£16.50). This shade is limited edition for Christmas, which makes it an exciting gift to receive as this is the only chance you wil get to buy it. This comes in the beautiful rose gold packaging which looks so elegant and the formulation is beautiful, it glides on, smells great, is non-sticky and has great lasting power. A lovely treat especially for Christmas.
I hope this has given you a few suggestions for stocking fillers or small presents that you need to buy. Happy shopping!
