What is it with limited edition products at Christmas, I just cannot resist them. Last year’s must have for me was that Chanel Eyeshadow Palette that Lisa Eldridge made everybody want, and this year I decided I needed some limited edition Charlotte Tilbury in my life. She has launched a new look to her collection, ‘The Supermodel’ especially for the holidays, which includes a stunning eyeshadow palette, lipstick and lip laquer. As gorgeous as the eyeshadow palette is, I needed to say no, I have way too many eyeshadows for any one person, but simply could not resist the limited edition lip products. Oh yeah, and I may have also accidentally bought the beautiful new burgundy and rose gold lips make-up bag ($35) to put them in!
The new K.I.S.S.I.N.G. Lipstick is the shade Confession ($32), a dusky, tawny nude with golden particles running through it. Nude lipsticks are my go-to shade, so I knew I would love this and the golden particles make it slightly festive which also helps to stop the lips from looking to flat. It is a shade that would suit many skintones and I find it very easy to wear. Being a Charlotte Tilbury lipstick, it is housed in rose gold luxury which just oozes glamour, making it perfect for the party season.
The Lip Lacquer is the shade Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds ($22), a vintage rose champagne shade with golden pearl that gives you the most luscious lips when it catches the light. It’s non-sticky formula is a delight to wear and its creamy formula feels so comfortable and really lasts on the lips.
Both of these look beautiful together and the Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in Pillowtalk is the perfect accompaniment creating a glamourous golden nude lip that really compliments a smokey eye, my favourite look for the party season.
