I was beyond excited when I heard of the Victoria Beckham collaboration with Nails Inc. earlier this week, so much so that I went straight to their website and snapped one of them up for myself. Retailing for $25 (and a more staggering £25 in the UK!), they are more expensive than other Nails Inc Polishes, but this is VB we are talking about and to be honest the packaging alone justifies the price! The polish came in a beautiful white gift box with a matching bag, it would honestly make such an impressive present if you are still looking for somebody!
The nail polishes are inspired by the Victoria by Victoria Beckham collection for Spring/Summer 2015 and comprises of two colours, Bamboo White and the one I have, Judo Red. Judo Red is one of my most favourite nail colours, a vibrant tomato red which is my go-to nail polish colour in the summer and a colour that really picks up my mood! The bottle itself is matte white (Bamboo White comes in a matte black bottle) which is made with Venetian glass and each bottle is hand frosted to reveal the nail polish colour at either side. VB even customised the design herself!
The polish itself is beautiful to apply, it has a lovely wide brush, the way I like them and applies really smoothly and seamlessly on the nails. This is possibly due to its stretch to fit technology and bamboo extract, which also helps to build healthy nails. It is opaque in just one coat which is very impressive indeed, although I always apply two for perfection and longevity.
I couldn’t be happier with this polish, it is so refreshing to add a bit of vibrancy to my nails in December, and I can see this polish taking me all the way through to the summer when I think it will look incredible with a tan. I cannot comment on the longevity yet as I only applied this earlier today, however, if you are thinking of buying this polish, lets be honest, it aint for how many days it lasts, is it?
Come and join me!
