I have been trying so many new products this month, mainly in an attempt to keep my skin totally hydrated, the weather here in New York is brutal so I have been changing things up a bit to keep the dehydration at bay. I have really made some great discoveries, so here are my favorite picks from the past month.
If there is one product that has stood out then it would be Origins Reinventing The Heel, which has literally stopped my feet from flaking off. If you read my review, you will know that my feet were literally peeling away, they were dry, cracked and I was beyond despair! This super hydrating balm from Origins has honestly restored my feet to they former glory, they are now smooth, soft and look like my own again! This is now an essential part of my night time routine before I go to bed and would recommend to anyone suffering the same!
I have a new hydrating serum in my life which I love, the Vichy Aqualia Thermal Serum, which I bought on recommendation by the very knowledgable Sali Hughes who definitely knows her stuff! I apply this serum every morning before my moisturizer, giving me that injection of moisture that my dehydrated skin craves. I don’t really buy too much skincare from the drugstore, but this is definitely one that I will be repurchasing!
Following the Vichy serum, I have been using the Kate Somerville Goat Milk Cream. I was after in the market for a new moisturizer, and due to this harsh winter I needed on that would really hydrate my skin whilst still being light enough for my combination skin. This really ticks all the boxes for me, it is lightweight, absorbs easily, doesn’t brake me out, soothe and hydrates. What more can I ask, I love it!
Moving on to make up, there has only been one foundation that I have worn this month which is the new Nars All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation. I have done a full review here, so that you can read all my thoughts on it but I have really been enjoying it! It is such a lightweight foundation which feels like nothing on the skin, yet still has amazing coverage and lasts all day long, even on my oily t-zone!
A new nude lipstick that has been gracing my lips this month has been the Mac Toldeo Collection Lipstick in Oxblood, which I believe is now available in the UK too. For me it is the perfect everyday color that goes with everything. I love the matte finish and the adorable packaging is just too cute!
Finally, the new Benefit Roller Lash Mascara has been a great find. It gives me super long fluttery lashes that stay blacker than black all day long without flaking or smudging. I have reviewed it in full here, but I have to say its one on Benefits best releases which I am sure will be a best seller!
Have you tried any of these? What products have you been loving this month?
