Since receiving my Make Up Revolution delivery from Gemma earlier this month, I have become obsessed with their high quality, purse friendly products. Their Lip Lava Liquid Lipstick in the shade Forgiven has now taken up permanent residency in my handbag because it is just the most beautiful peachy nude, easy to wear lip color which really flatters my warm complexion. Housed in a squeezey tube with a sponge applicator, the Lip Lava is super easy to apply and is so smooth and creamy on the lips. What I love about this liquid lipstick is that it actually stays glossy on the lips without drying down to a matte formula as a lot of formulas do such as the Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick that I reviewed earlier this month. It therefore feels very moisturizing on the lips and is so comfortable to wear which is probably down to the inclusion of Vitamin E. For such a reasonably priced lip product, I am surprised how pigmented this is, it is instantly opaque in one swipe and is so long wearing. For £2.99 this is seriously the bargain of the century and is one of five gorgeous shades which are available from select Superdrug stores or the Make Up Revolution website, where you can even buy 5 for the price of 4!
Looking at them, they are extremely similar to the Too Faced Melted Lipsticks, although I haven’t actually tried these yet, but check out Gemma’s review on her thoughts of this possible dupe!
