On Saturday it was my birthday, and I was totally spoilt by my husband, who amongst other gifts bought me so many new beauty products, I was overwhelmed! I had told him a couple of the bits I wanted, but some of them were also total surprises which was amazing. Of course I will be reviewing these in due course, so I won’t go into too much detail, just wanted to show the gorgeous new beauty bits that I was lucky enough to receive on my birthday.
I had my eye on a few bits from the new Chanel Les Beiges collection that has newly been released. As a bronzer lover, top of my list was the Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Powder in 02 Mariniere. This is not strictly a bronzer (although can be used as such), but more of a powder that you can apply all over the face for a gorgeous bronzy glow. I am really loving this so far as it gives me that warm glow of a bronzer without being too intense
In the summer, I love sheer lip products so the Chanel Les beiges Healthy Glow Lip Balm in No. 10 seemed like an obvious choice from the collection. A hydrating lip balm with a soft pink tint to it is the perfect lip treat for the coming months.
The final Chanel product on my wish list was the Chanel Nail Polish in 717 Coquelicot, a vibrant red from the Summer 2015 collection that is just my perfect color. I have actually never owned a Chanel Polish as apparently they chip easily, however I had heard reports that the formula had improved recently so am excited to get this on my nails!
The Tom Ford Lip Color in Spanish Pink has been on the top of my wish list for so long now, so I was so excited to receive this for my birthday. It is a beautiful warm-toned peachy pink, that is just perfection!
On a recent shopping trip, I had tried a few of the fragrances from the Tom Ford Private Blend Collection, which I have to say are all pretty special. The one that wowed me the most was the Tom Ford Rive D’Ambre Eau De Parfum, which combines a blend of citrus fruits together with the more seductive notes of amber. It smells amazing and was so spoilt to receive this as it does not come cheap!
Another surprise came in the form of Le Labo Neroli 36 Body Lotion. I had never even heard of Le Labo before this, so kudos to my husband for helping me discover a new brand. Le Labo is a NYC based fragrance house that makes all of their scents by hand. They offer luxury colognes, candles, body products and the like. The Neroli 36 Body Lotion smells divine and the scent lingers around all day long.
The final gift in my birthday beauty haul is the Diptyque Mimosa Candle. My husband knows how much I love Diptyque candles, so treated me to the Mimosa scent, which is a beautiful summery floral scent that also smells of the ocean. I can’t wait to burn this!
