The Best of New Makeup For Fall 2017

Fall Beauty 2017

There have been so many amazing makeup launches recently in preparation for the new season now upon us, and of course, I have been trying as many as I can. Here are my favorite picks of the new makeup launches for Fall 2017.

As a base, I have really been loving the Milk Makeup Blur Liquid Matte Foundation as it is super lightweight, yet has amazing coverage and is also oil and silicone-free, so makes for a very agreeable foundation on my reactive skin.

The new Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Light and Contour Wands are quite something and make light-work of defining those cheekbones. Both come in squeezy, travel-friendly tubes with a sponge applicator that make it super easy to apply and there is also a dual-ended brush available to buff in the product. The contour cream in light-medium is a perfect neutral tone, that is neither too cool or too warm and the highlight is honestly to die-for, leaving you glowing all day long! Let’s not forget the amazing Hollywood Lips, the first liquid lipstick to not leave my lips feeling as dry as a bone, these feel comfortable to wear, with a beautiful velvety matte finish and come in a great spectrum of shades.

Pat McGrath has recently launched her gorgeous range of lipsticks, which, to be honest are worth it for the packaging alone. I have the MattTrance lipstick in the shade 1995, a warm pinky nude that is so creamy and pigments, yet has a lovely matte finish that is not drying in the slightest!

Another new lipstick launch that has been under the radar is the Becca Lush Lip Colour Balm, a lipstick that feels like a lip balm so has a sheer-ish but buildable formula allowing you to increase the intensity of the color, whilst still having a nourishing product on the lips. I have the shade Black Violet, a gorgeous plum shade which I can’t get enough of at the moment!

The palette of the season so far has to be the Marc Jacobs Eyeshadow Palette in Scandalust, a perfect mix of warm Autumnal shades together with some lighter ‘everyday’ shades, making this palette extremely versatile and essential for the season ahead. The pigmentation and lasting power of these shadows is also unreal!

So Victoria Beckham has launched her new collection with Estée Lauder recently, and having tried some of her collection last year, I am a big fan. Yes they are pricey pieces, but the packaging is exquisite and there are some unique products such as the Eye Foil in Blonde Gold, a liquid eyeshadow that can be worn alone or over the top of eyeshadow. Either way, it gives the eyes a mesmeric shimmer that glistens in the light and stays put for hours. This will be great for the holiday season too!

Another exciting eyeshadow launch is the Chanel Ombre Première Cream Eyeshadow in the shade Memory, which is the most perfect golden bronze shade ever. Applied with your finger and blended through the socket with a brush, this lightweight formula is so effortless that it is definitely going to be my go-to shadow this Fall.

Last, but by no means least is the launch of Rihanna’s brand, Fenty Beauty which has got the beauty world very excited. She has focused on the complexion with her line, including a foundation with 40 shades! I have been trying out the Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Foundation and I am so impressed, it has amazing coverage, has a beautiful soft matte finish that doesn’t look heavy and most importantly, is very long-lasting. I have also tried the Match Stix Shimmer in Trippin which gives a very pretty rose gold highlight, but my favorite from the collection so far is the Gloss Bomb, an amazing non-sticky lip gloss that suits EVERYONE! I am not really a gloss girl, but I am obsessed, it tastes amazing, is the most flattering color and keeps the lips really hydrated as if it were a balm. Everybody need this!

This really is a great season for new makeup, and I know there is so much more great offerings to come so stay tuned!
